Working with Austin Energy

Austin Energy works with a variety of vendors to help with operations and projects. We especially encourage local and women- or minority-owned businesses to work with us.

Register as a Vendor

To become an Austin Energy vendor, you must first register with the City of Austin's Vendor Connection.

Registering allows you to:

  • List your products or services with the City
  • Receive solicitation notices when your product or services meet our business needs
  • Look for different types of solicitations, and see when master agreements expire and are ready for re-solicitation

Women- and Minority-Owned Businesses

We encourage women- and minority-owned businesses to take advantage of business opportunities with Austin Energy. We can help you navigate the Vendor Connection registration and certification processes.

If you need further assistance, call the Austin Energy Purchasing Office at 512-322-6155.

Payment Status

To find a payment status, first contact your project manager. If you can’t reach your project manager, call Austin Energy Purchasing at 512-322-6155.

For the payment status on construction projects, call Contract Management at 512-974-5632.

Complete a Company Profile Resume

In addition, you can fill out an optional Company Profile Resume to tell us more about your business. You can use this resume at pre-solicitation meetings along with your marketing materials.
