Solar Photovoltaics—Guidelines

Austin Energy offers residential customers Solar Photovoltaics (PV) Rebates to help offset their initial investment in solar PV technology.

We offer this rebate for purchasing eligible solar energy system modules and eligible solar energy system inverters from a participating company.

By participating, you do more than protect your own pocket book. You help improve our environment by reducing the need to generate additional power. And you help lower the City of Austin's long-term investment in electric facilities.

You can apply for both a solar PV loan and a rebate.
