Lighting Program
Austin Energy offers small business
customers discounts for upgrading interior lighting systems
with high efficiency equipment. Contracting with Energy Saving
Strategies allows Austin Energy to "buy down" material
and labor costs and pass the savings onto you. This usually
saves a small business more money than a lighting rebate.
Discounts depend on the type of lighting
retrofit, but most projects average over 70%.
Program Eligibility
Small business customers in the following
rate classes are eligible:

Any business or organization recognized
as a 501(c) (3)
tax-exempt entity by the Internal Revenue Service.
(Official documentation verifying tax-exempt status must
be presented prior to approval for program participation). |
