Multi-Family Green Building Program
For Building Professionals, Owners, and Residents

Austin Energy's Multi-Family Green Building Program helps building professionals design and build comfortable condominium and apartment homes that are energy, water, and resource efficient.

Involving the Multi-Family team early in your project—ideally, during programming phase—yields most value. Multi-Family Green Building Program experts can help you set your own sustainability goals; provide design, plan, and specification review; and provide other valuable resources that will allow you to build environmentally-friendly, low-maintenance, durable units within the project’s budget.

If your project achieves a rating from our program, Austin Energy Green Building will help you market your efforts to Austin’s eco-savvy citizens.

Multi-Family Green Building Program services include:

Sustainability consultation and design charrette coordination for developers, designers, owners, and builders for new construction and renovation
Assistance with incentives for electric, gas, and water conservation
 Marketing assistance
S.M.A.R.T. Housing compliance, consulting, and review
