Reduce energy costs
The CoolerMiser can reduce electricity use of glass front coolers for non-perishable drinks by an average of 30% or $100 per cooler per year. Glass front coolers consume about $300 of electricity annually. CoolerMiser can operate stand alone or it can be a perfect companion to the VendingMiser^®.

How does CoolerMiser work?
CoolerMiser uses a passive infrared sensor (PIR) to determine when the surrounding area is vacant, the device powers down the machine to conserve energy when no one is in the area. Additionally, the device:

	Monitors the room temperature and periodically re-powers the cooler to ensure products stay cold.
	Detects if the cooler's compressor is operating; and will not power down until it is done running, eliminating compressor short cycling.
	Utilizes its unique embedded sensor repeater for a bank of coolers, allowing it to be controlled from the PIR sensor of any other Miser in the bank. This facilitates a quick and simple installation.

Why use CoolerMiser?
CoolerMiser's unique approach to power management has many advantages:

	CoolerMiser will control single, double and triple door coolers as long as the 12 amp power rating of the CoolerMiser is not exceeded.
	CoolerMiser analyzes the cooler's performance on a cycle-by-cycle basis, constantly responding to changes in load, sales and the environment in which it is located. It then modifies its behavior accordingly, ensuring proper operation.
	CoolerMiser monitors ambient temperature and ensures products remain cold.
	CoolerMiser reduces machine run time, thus reducing maintenance costs.

Is CoolerMiser inappropriate for
certain locations?
Only one. Because savings are generated as a result of vacancy in the area, a machine in a location that is occupied 24-hours, 7 days a week will likely generate little savings.

Fast, free installation
This simple plug-and-play product is attached without tools to the machine, or can be attached to the wall with simple hand tools. Since it attaches to the exterior cables with Velcro, local vending companies accept it. Austin Energy contractors install CoolerMiser free of charge.
