A Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Rebate covers up to 20% of the cost of certain improvements—up to $1800. Find a participating company and get started.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® — Loan
We Make Financing Easy. We offer two options for financing energy improvements to your home.
Choose Option 1 with interest as low as 0% if you’re having all recommended improvements plus an energy-efficient air conditioner change out completed by one of Austin Energy’s participating companies.
Choose Option 2 for a menu of improvements you select, with interest as low as 1.9 %.

Performance with ENERGY STAR® Certificate
Austin Energy now offers a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® certificate verifying completion of all efficiency improvements recommended in a home energy analysis. The analysis, improvements, and certificate cover four main areas:
- Central air conditioning and heating or heat pump
- Air Duct sealing or replacement
- Solar screens, window film, or low-E windows
- Attic insulation
To be eligible for certification, the residence must receive electricity from Austin Energy and be a:
- Single-family home
- Condominium or town home
- Duplex, triplex, or fourplex
(Mobile and manufactured homes not eligible.)
If you own an eligible residence, contact an Austin Energy participating
company to learn more.
Note: If your home is 10-or-more years old, it might be eligible for a free home energy analysis.
