Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Certificate

Austin Energy now offers a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR^® certificate verifying completion of all efficiency improvements recommended in a home energy analysis. The analysis, improvements, and certificate cover four main areas:

• Central air conditioning and heating or heat pump
• Air Duct sealing or replacement
• Solar screens, window film, or low-E windows
• Attic insulation

To be eligible for certification, the residence must receive electricity from Austin Energy and be a:

• Single-family home
• Condominium or town home
• Duplex, triplex, or fourplex

(Mobile and manufactured homes not eligible.)

Note: If your home is 10-or-more years old, it might be eligible for a free home energy analysis.
