Multi-Family—Rebate Levels

Air Conditioning Installation/Replacement—4 or more units
	AC with Gas Furnace—Rebates start at $180 per system for a minimum 14.0 SEER/11.5 EER system and increase to $480 for a 15.0 SEER/12.5 EER or greater system. Both coil and condenser must be replaced to be eligible.
	AC with Electric Furnace—Rebates start at $120 per system for 14.0 SEER/11.5 EER system and increase to $220 for a 15.0 SEER/12.5 EER or greater. Both coil and condenser must be replaced to be eligible.

Heat Pump Installation/Replacement—4 or more units
	Rebates start at $240 per system for a minimum 14.0 SEER/11.5 EER system and increase to $540 for a 15.0 SEER/12.5 EER or greater. Both coil and condenser must be replaced to be eligible.

Window Treatments
	Rebates for double pane solar screens or solar films are $1.50 epr square foot and $1.88 for single panes. Rebates are applicable for all orientations except north and northeast.
	Screens must have a shading coefficient of .40 or less; solar film must have .42 or less.
	Low E window replacement rebates are $2.00 per square foot.
	Low E window glazing must have a solar heat gain coefficient of .35 or less, as certified by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC).

Ceiling Insulation
	Rebates are $0.23 per square foot for existing insulation level of R-7 or less.
	Rebates are $0.15 per square foot for existing insulation level of R-8 to R-16.
	An effective R-value of R-30 must be achieved.

Air Duct System Diagnostic and Improvements
	Properties are assessed and rebates determined on an individual basis based on "before" air duct testing.
	Rebates range from $0.20 up to $0.38 per square foot of conditioned living space.

Interior Lighting
	$18.00 per kitchen fixture for converting incandescent fixtures to fluorescent.
	$15.00 per bathroom fixture for converting incandescent fixtures to fluorescent.
	Wattage reduction requirements apply.

Common Area Rebates
	Rebates are available for common area interior lighting provided the lighting operates for at least four consecutive hours between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., May through October.
Compact Fluorescent Bulb Rebates
	$4.00 per bulb for replacing existing incandescent lighting with "screw-in" Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR® rated compact fluorescent lighting. Bulb must have a minimum Kelvin Rating of 2700K, to closely match incandescent lighting quality.

Funding is limited and is available only to Austin Energy customers on a first-come, first-served basis. The offering is subject to change without notice.
