Power Saver™ Program
Solar Photovoltaics—Loans

Austin Energy customers may finance their solar electric system at low rates through Velocity Credit Union. Loans cover the purchase price as well as the installation costs.

Low Interest Loans for Solar Energy
We contract with Velocity Credit Union to offer a current Market Interest Rate loan to install solar photovoltaic power systems. This offer is available to our residential customers with single-family residences.

Loans of up to $20,000 are available with terms as long as 10 years .

	No fee
	No closing costs up to $400
	No lien required on loans up to $15,000
	No prepayment penalty

You can apply for both a solar PV loan and a rebate.

Funding
Austin Energy makes no financial commitment to rebate applicants until a signed Letter of Intent is issued. Rebate funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to program budget constraints. Any application for which funding is not available will be returned to the applicant.
