Austin Energy Green Building Making Changes to Program
We are in the process of restructuring AEGB, specifically regarding how building professionals interact with our program. Not all the details are finalized and the new process will take some time to put into place. The short version is: We are moving from a membership program to a project-based system. Green building professionals will participate in our program by rating their projects.
Online Directory
The name of the Green Building Program Member Directory will soon change to the Green Building Professionals Directory. Listings in the Green Building Professionals Directory will be based on project ratings. Green building professionals who rate a project will automatically be listed in the Directory. Generally, builders and architects will submit project ratings. The listing will be available for 2 years for single-family residential projects and 5 years for commercial and multi-family developments. If a new project rating is not completed by that time, the listing will drop out of the Directory.
Seminars
We still offer free, monthly lunchtime seminars. Space will be first come, first served and no RSVP is needed. As you leave the seminar, you can pick up your CEU certificate or sign up for your AIA credits. For a list of upcoming seminars, click here.

New Name and Logo
Our program is now called Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB). We even have a new logo that incorporates our new name! The logo may be used by building professionals who actively participate in Austin Energy Green Building. If you would like a copy of the new logo for your marketing materials, please e-mail us. |
Don't Forget the Networking Seminar!
The Networking Seminar is coming up on October 18- would you like your rated projects from 2006 to be included in our Powerpoint presentation? E-mail photos with the project name, location and company name.
