- Release account information to another person
- Add a financially responsible authorized user
- Request historical account records
- Request public information about the utility
You may give another person who is not living with you, such as a caregiver or parent, access to your City of Austin utility account.

Add a Financially Responsible Authorized User to Your Account
You may add a financially responsible authorized user to your account. Financially responsible users are usually spouses, domestic partners, or roommates.

Change Account Holder, Mailing Address, or Phone Number
On Your Account
If your mailing address or phone number has changed, update your account with Online Customer Care. Be sure to include the following information:
- Account number
- Address on record
- Driverís license number or last four digits of your Social Security Number
If the account holder at your address has moved or passed away, please call Customer Care at (512) 494-9400.
