Austin Energy and the Electric Utility Commission invite the public to consider possible amendments to the City of Austin’s Competitive Matters Resolution.
What Is the Competitive Matters Resolution?
The Competitive Matters Resolution identifies the types of information that Austin Energy considers competitive and therefore not provided to the public. This type of information could give an advantage to Austin Energy competitors or prospective competitors if publicly released. Examples include fuel and wholesale power contracts, generating plant maintenance schedules, customer information, and market research.
