Plugged In to Education
Education is Austin Energy’s number one community-support activity. We proudly provide resources for:

• Educating customers through our Speakers Bureau and community events such as National Night Out
• Supporting schools through employee mentoring of area students
• Developing, sponsoring, and running events and demonstrations like the Austin Energy Regional Science Festival, Light Up Austin, PowerTown, and the annual Solar Car Races

Electrical Safety
Perhaps for obvious reasons, Electrical Safety remains our prime focus—particularly Electrical Safety for Kids. To learn more, check out Electrical Safety World, our fun and educational gaming center for third through seventh graders, and Safety Seek-n-Find (Spanish).
